"Villatel Orlando Resort offers affordable rates, which initially seemed great. However, they charge extra for nearly everything—for example, restocking amenities costs $40 per night, and the dish and hand soaps feel watered down. They also push heavily for prepaid services like pool heating and grill propane, which are very expensive. Unfortunately, our important dinner celebration was ruined because, despite prepaying for the grill propane in advance, it ran out in the middle of cooking. It took over two hours to get a refill, and we had to go to a restaurant to finish our BBQ. There was no apology from staff, which was very disappointing. While the price is budget-friendly, these extra charges and service issues impacted our stay."
