It was everything good and around the view is awesome. But is main thing is not air conditioning in any room so we felt hot all night. And no microwaves in the room. Rooms needs some works done like washroom door not working properly. But otherwise hotel on very nice view.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rockwater Secret Cove. The staff as delightful and very sweet and accommodating. Our tandem massage in the tent by the water was relaxing and so tranquil. Dinner was delicious as well at Tubird. A very wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back again :)

Beautiful area as far as your view. But the cabin we stayed in had a terrible sewage smell. Beautiful area surrounding the cabins though. Do not recommend the dining on site. Food was not worth the high price.

Our family stayed in cabin 04 with a small living room, room overall is clean, bathroom in our room very smelly because smell from toilet bowl. Overall facility is good. The most surprise is the restaurant in the hotel the food very very good.

Property has great location. But not all cabins have a good view. Our cabin was clean but we soon realized that there was water seeping in thru the bathroom floor after we showered. The air-conditioner was noisy.

The front desk staff was great, and to be fair, they did everything in their power to make our stay enjoyable. What I didn't like were the following. The bar is just beside the front desk, at 4:00pm during our check-in, the bartender was making quite a loud racket by dumping ice 3 times in the sink. We couldn't hear anything the front door agent was asking us. We asked about the restaurant, they are independent from the hotel, so no meals were included in the price of the room, no supper, no breakfast. That aside, we asked for when would be a good time for supper, only to be told that they were booked for the full evening. So we had to drive 25 minutes to Sechelt to find a place to eat. To add insult to the drive, when we came back, the restaurant was only half full with 8-10 tables being available. Parking is quite limited, this was compounded by some guests using 2 parking stalls for their pick-up trucks. god forbid they would get a scratch on them. I cannot really blame the hotel for these guests, but fact remains that parking is quite limited. On a bright side, while we were out for supper, the front desk agent move her car to a stall close to our room so we would have a place to park when we came back. The premises don't have any elevators to the second floor where our room was, and none down to the swimming pool. All they have are stairs, and the 2 sets of stairs to the 2nd floor are both outside, which is quite dangerous for us with mobility issues.

Rockwater Resort was the perfect place to rest and relax. The pool was perfect with great lounge chairs to enjoy the sun. The boardwalk to the tent cabins was a nice way to see different views of the gorgeous ocean and islands surrounding the resort. The TuBird Restaurant onsite had delicious food for all meals. We went for some walks on the many different trails a short drive away. If we had more time we could have kayaked, paddle boarded, ate smores, and played lawn games. I will definitely come back again.

Great property with wonderful views. The resort overall needs a little updating. Nothing major just a little tired. I would love to go back but for the price we paid…I expect top notch everything.

Short staffed, poorly trained, but friendly. The hotel doesn’t receive messages sent via Expedia app. The welcome pond was empty. Our room looked like it wasn’t meant for paying guests. Chairs were mounted on top of the dining table when we entered. The upholstery on them was worn and peeling. Furniture was mismatched with major scratches all over the surfaces. The window showcasing the ocean view had a large crack. The kettle needed to be on the floor to reach an outlet, but we had to unplug the lamp to use it. The beds were made but there was hair on the sheet and pillow. The TV remote had tape holding the batteries inside and didn’t work so when a technician came to change batteries/troubleshoot he didn’t speak English but basically showed me I needed to stand next to the TV and point the remote behind it to change channels. After he left I found the receiver just fell behind the stand, so I retrieved it to operate normally. The next day we booked kayaks. The same technician asked us for help to pull the kayaks into the water. He was wearing rubber boots and could’ve done it on his own, but instead we ruined our runners in the low tide mud and pushed ourselves out. When we came back he was gone so we took off our shoes and socks to get in the water and dock ourselves. I cut my foot on the shells. The pool water was so cloudy that you couldn’t see the logo on the floor like the Expedia photos show. The pool and 2 bdrm suite didn’t look ANYTHING like online.

This is a beautiful location and the rooms were nice. The pool was clear and clean and a nice temperature for the kids. We would stay here again.

Our screen door that has been taped and obviously fixed a few times fell off. We asked for someone to come and fix it obviously it can’t be fixed because it can’t be square. My friend I was travelling with is a redhead and we were just not wanting to sit in the sun and we need some airflow. We’ve been travelling for like 20 hours and just wanted to relax and we don’t really feel like we got any relaxation.

The property is surrounded by arbutus trees, ocean and views of the mountains and islands. We stayed in one of the Yurts. Very romantic and private. Double jacuzzi tub looking over the water. Deck big enough for yoga. Heated floors and fireplace. Sunsets were spectacular. This is our 2nd year can’t wait for next year.

Began with being ignored then when attended to, being treated rudely. Had issues with sliding washroom door, took over 20 mins and had to remind the front desk again to send someone from maintenance. Same issue happened later at night again. Lots of dead mosquitoes smushed into the ceiling and walls with blood splatters still on the wall. Dirty and a bit rough shape, one of the pillow cases was coming off pillows so I saw the pillow that was quite dirty. Dirty under beds, super dusty in some places, dust and garbage under the beds when I went to check that my kids had not left anything that fell under there. Called the restaurant to make a reservation and they told me they were slammed and we would not get a reservation but could try the lounge. Showed up at 5:15, about 15 minutes later and was told they had no room when we said we had spoken with someone who said the lounge might be an option she said she could fit us in if we left by 6:45. We said that was fine then she proceeded to tell my kids they could not tell because this was a fancy place, which is entirely not the best way to handle that even if you do want to let the parents know you need the kids to behave (which they were not misbehaving or yelling at that point so it did not seem called for). Overall we did not feel welcome from the beginning straight through to the end. We left at 8:15am with people waiting by the locked front door to get in for breakfast which they had reservations for at 8am. Won’t go back.
