"It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a blend of modern and period furnishings. "Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Very helpful local information given. Room was spotless. Hotel is only 5 minutes walk to centre abd beach. The hotel is easy to access and they arranged a taxi to return to the airport to be driven to St Jean de pied pont. You will enjoy a night exploring in Biarritz before the Camino Frances. The French Rivera is beautiful"
