Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful"

"Host took an hour to arrive to give access to the room. Apartment was filthy. Electricity kept going out so the host would ask the guest to top up. Nothing worked in the apartment and eventually given a refund in darkness. The host is rude, unprofessional lacks respect and part of the decline of Mombasa as a tourist hotspot. Expedia should ban such hosts "

"Altogether everything was okay. Though the statys of the washing area was not in good condition. The sink and washing washing machine had mould all over and this makes one doubt the cleanliness of the towels and and beddings washed in it. Considering the size of the property, 15 units of electricity was not enough for 3 nights yet there was 9 of us in the property. Wifi was selective on some phones. Water dispenser was not replenished. You need to consider the size of the family before rationing...

"Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area.."

"This is a great resort hotel right next to the huge world famous zoo. Lovely beachfront. Great dining. Excellent bar, great facilities, especially for larger groups. "

"First it is not a hotel but studios. The amenenities are very old, the wall paper was peeling and the neighbourhood feels very insecure for a woman travelling alone. It is 1 km from the beach. There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers"
