We were placed in a basement unit despite booking what was advertised as a “premier house.” It’s not suitable for six guests. we were only five and still found it inadequate. Basic essentials were lacking: just two rolls of toilet paper for six days (the host was arguing with us that there was more even though we have picture proof there was two), towels smelled of mildew, and not enough sheets for the beds we requested. "Never made it to the stay. Booked/paid in advance via Expedia. According to the checkin directions the property is supposed to send instructions via email 24 hours in advance, that never happened after repeated requests. We contacted Expedia they attempted to get a hold of the proper owner and couldn’t. The day of checkin after several phone calls/left messages and texts the property owners finally messaged us via text with a link to pay and asked me to send a picture of my ID. I relayed and...
