"We’ve stayed at pretty much all the resorts in Waikoloa. This is the only resort that doesn’t have a small store on site that sells drinks, snacks, sundries, first aid items etc. Not even vending machines. The pool bistro that sells drinks and food closes at 6pm. They have a huge gathering room nobody uses. Chop 1/3rd off and add a store. Staying a week they have 1 day in the middle they classify as a “deep clean”. This consists of empty have the full trash cans in the room and changing the sheets. No vacuuming the room or wiping anything down. Grounds were nice as always and the staff were friendly. "

"This is a fun hotel to stay at when in Paradise. We had first good weather and then rain. I would have thought that the hotel would have more activities for rain days. When my out going flight was canceled they were very cooperative on extending the sale :) "

"Golf was fabulous. Massage was good, but a little pricey. Staff was fabulous. Loved them all. "

"Beautiful beach! Enough lounge chairs. We used the cabanas two days. Food and drinks are good. Any issue you needed help with was immediately taken care of. Did not like that one guest had two big Doberman dogs on property off leash. The energy was a little scary also. We turned around and didn’t use the hot tub that night. "

"The property grounds were beautiful and serene. We were so happy we chose this place outside the hustle and bustle of Hilo. The trip into Hilo was about 20 minutes, but the drive was beautiful and worth the peacefulness of the property. There were many sites to see within a few miles, such as Akaka falls and the Botanical Gardens."
