This place may have some room that are really brash lookin but the staff are so nice and the food is incredible. I would 100% go back to these guys again!
The staff at this property were absolutely AMAZING!!. Very caring and attentive to our needs. Short walk to main train station and many restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.
Super modern, clean and the locations not to bad. I walked everywhere but if you’re not into walking the subway and train station are close by.
The staff are fantastic!!!
Good and clean room with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy. The hotel lacked staff so no lunch or dinner was served in the weekend, that was a little odd. Breakfast was nice with a lot to choose from.
We went to Hamburg for a family weekend and stayed for 3 nights. Villa Viva was perfect for us with walking distance to most and safe neighborhood. It was fairly quiet and the breakfast was healthy. My kids missed the bacon. The room we had was large and there is no TV which allowed us more time to talk. WiFi was great!
Nice, new hotel. The rooftop bar is magnificent with good drinks and service. Enjoyable sauna. Good entertainment in the restaurant area. The platform lofted bed was not useful and would have been an issue if I needed to use the other side of the bed.
The rooftop bar and view is a bonus to this accommodation. I found the bed to be super comfy but my husband found it too hard. Location was also convenient to the Elbphilharmonie. Attended a memorable performance by Florián Christl and ensemble, followed by great food at the restaurant. All near the hotel.
Absolutely outstanding experience at Villa Viva Hotel in Hamburg! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. The rooms are impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with every modern convenience. The hotel's location is perfect, nestled in a charming neighborhood with easy access to Hamburg's major attractions. The breakfast spread is a delightful start to the day, offering a variety of delicious options. I highly recommend Villa Viva for anyone seeking a blend of luxury and comfort in Hamburg. We will definitely be returning!
Good value for money but tiny room are true to word! Very nice restaurant staff. Cool roof top bar and brand new hotel and very clean. Would stay again if alone. Close to Bahnhof.
This hotel is just starting out. No one responds to phone (goes straight to answering machine), or question via FB/messenger (that is the social media dept). We could leave our bags after checking out, but no special room or receipt for this.
Industrial design architecture. If you love staying in a bunker, you will love the place. It’s walking distance from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, but I would only do so during daylight and not at night. Lots of drug addicts roaming the area. The room was okay, but lacked the basics. No coffee machine, no television, no desk… The staff was very friendly and helpful. The roof top bar was technically open, but we didn’t feel welcomed. We were warned a company had rented the place out for the evening. They only offered beer and wine, soft drinks. No mixed drinks because of the party. We left.
Great staffs!
It was a little hard to find the entrance of the hotel due to construction around the hotel. Also, it’s not so easy to find elevator and a room at the first sight. Need more sign and proper sign location.
This is a new hotel, so be careful not to touch the asfalt wall in the room. Otherwise, you’ll wear clothes with white powder.
A wonderful new hotel just walking distance from the main train station. It is located in the quieter side of Hauptbahnhof and it made us feel safe to walk back to the hotel late at night. The room was super cozy it made us so comfortable. We had the family room and the toilet is separate from the bathroom which is a plus. It has also its own rooftop bar which is good as we didnt have to go out to have a drink. If I have to suggest then it would be to add a body size mirror on the wall. It doesnt have a TV in our room and i think its a plus in our case as we get to talk more without distraction. Good price for the location and overall experience. Highly recommended especially when you travel by train.
The Facility itself was excellent as it is a new hotel but had a modern urban feeling to it. The staff from the front desk, breakfast and the Rooftop Bar were extremely friendly and spoke English which was a big help. The Train Station was convenient nearby and walkable. The rooms were super cleans, spacious for European standards. The only negative and it is not the hotels fault as there are several nice hotels around is that there is some vagrancy of people loitering but not near the hotel a few blocks away as you pass to the station. However my son and I did not encounter any problems. We walked from the hotel to the station at 5am to catch the train to airport and it was quiet. I would definitely stay here again as the rates were competitive and bar at the roof top was convenient to have some late drinks.
New hotel, construction works in front of the building entrance are still pending. Hotel looks very interesting and modern but some solutions seems to be design over function. Standard rooms are very tiny, no room for the suitcase. The bed is on the plywood podium (mind the corner when you climb on it). It would be very cool solution, but the window is facing the close apartment building. In the bathroom there is no shelf to put the toiletries. The positive: lovely and friendly staff, very nice breakfast,
Enjoyed our stay, particularly liked the great wifi, air con and roof top bar. All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially reception staff who allowed us to check in early. Bed was large and comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Didnt hear any noise except the fire alarm going off at just past midnight which meant we had to leave our room and stand outside in our nightclothes for about 20 mins.
Room was described by Expedia as Classic which actually equated to an extremely small room and bathroom descibed as Tiny on the hotel's website. Room would have been perfect for one adult but was cramped for 2 adults, especially a male over 6ft tall. Not a lot of restaurants or bars nearby and 15 min walk from main train station was a bit seedy as it passed nearby a compound for homeless and adults with addictions. We were approached by one of these individuals one evening as we walked back to our hotel via the steps on the way to the hotel from the train station.
Hotel seemed to be geared to the younger market but we still enjoyed our stay.
