This hotel is FAR from 5 stars. It took over an hour to check in because reception could not find our reservation. They did little to quickly resolve this and just left us waiting and pretty much did they best to ignore us until we insisted they sort the issue.
The main hotel areas were fine but the corridors were poorly lit, probably to hide the poor and dingy condition. The hotel was fine but also not 5 star condition, wallpaper was peeling, stains on the curtains, finger marks around the mirror. The room was apparently pool view but the glimpse of the pool we could see was actually the pool of the neighbouring hotel. The one plus is the bed was super comfy.
Breakfast was really poor. It was tasteless and the pastries were rock hard.
The pool itself was really nice and seemed clean but the surrounding area was a complete mess. Chairs and loungers just strewn around, all were really dirty too.
I would not stay again and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.
Extremely noisy, unfriendly staff with attitude (expect the girl at night at front desk).
A lot of much better options around

Tge hotel ia clean and modern, but the service and the breakfast is terrible, over allrge hotel is average and not worth the money, the best part us the swimming pool, but the management shoukd work more with the staff in terms of customer service, the breakfast is average...omelette is runny ..oan cakes burnt...not worth tge monet and wont recommends.
This is no way a 5 star hotel- the service is actually shocking. Staff have knowledge of what is actually going on in the hotel in terms of what is and isn’t available to clients.
I requested to speak to management, and given a whole speech and free coffee to make up for a horrible experience!
The hotel looks nice we were bothered by two factors:
1- zero privilege as gold members. They refused to give an upgrade even though the hotels was not full. The service was too slow. We kept waiting for almost 2 hours to get pool towels and every time we requested one they sounded very rude and indifferent.
2- we were assigned a room where we had 3 RF antennas . As experts in the field we know that was not safe at all and extremely harmful.

No perks for Gold members, disappointing..
My second time in the Russelior Hotel;
Things that did not change :
- Food quality, always good.
- Rooms, they are good.
Things that did change :
- Garden is not well maintained as it used to be. Grass is not as green as it used to be and trees are not maintained as they used to be few years ago.
- Hotel partly transformed to a retirement and nursing home hosting Seniors with or without medical assistance. Every Senior person is actually assisted by a nurse. I've seen the same for El Hambra and Saphir Palace, all in the same region.
- The cold welcoming and NO perks despite being a Hotels.com Gold member and the hotel being almost empty (I've kindly asked for the upgrade when booking).
I'm not going back to this property.

I chose this property because it was popular and close to my in-laws. Everyone gives it raving reviews, so I booked my reservation months ago.
I was also told by former employees that this place used to be Better and it is now way different from how it used to be before. I’ve had minor issues leading up to the actual day of staying at the hotel but that did not matter because I already made up my mind to stay there however, I did not enjoy my stay for the most part. The rooms are not soundproof, every night I heard a couple being intimate that was annoying. Also, people coughing and using the bathroom.. The phones in the room do not work, nor does the balcony light. TV remote did not work, nor the button to the TV,. Breakfast is repetitive and limited. My room seen better days, I feel it was very dirty in my opinion. For the hotel to be luxury, for me, it did not feel like it. I wanted to ask the front desk can I change my room on the first day that I got there but they seemed unapproachable like you may be bothering them, so me not want to be that person who complains, I just spent my nights sleeping there sometimes and the rest of the time with my in-laws because it is what it is. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel to a friend who staying in Hammamet. But again this is just my experience. Maybe somebody else will have a better room that’s more clean and doesn’t it feel cramped and stuffy. I was there for nine nights.

la chambre est impeccable même si on nous a donné un étage sans ascenseur. sinon le personnel est courtois mais sans plus
Je n’ai pas eu un cap de bain ni des claquettes
Le restaurant pour le petit déjeuner j’étais très déçu peu de choix la viennoiserie était pas bonne très sec…
La plage était loin, il fallait prendre une navette le truc que je n’ai pas aimé car j’attendais trop longtemps la navette
La piscine était pas grande, c’était Petit pas assez transat car l’hôtel était rempli
Pas d’ambiance dans l’hôtel, c’était vraiment naze, je n’ai pas aimé du tout
En plus j’ai payé cher, pour que au final je passe quatre jours horrible…
Une odeur désagréable des égouts dans les chambres nous empêche de profiter dea nourriture n'est pas fraîche, peu de qualité de produits et non diversifiée...

Encore un séjour fantastique dans un véritable 5 étoiles. Personnel au top, merci à Rania et Aymen pour leurs gentillesse et leurs efficacité.

Cet hôtel n’a rien à envié au 5 étoiles français.
Hôtel très propre et vraiment magnifique j‘ai l’habitude de venir depuis très longtemps et la qualité n’a pas changé.
Une pensée particulière à Hiba et Imen pour leurs service impeccable et leurs gentillesses.
Pas d’eau dans la chambre a 30 degrés pas de serviette a la piscine room service sans téléphone qui ne marche pas, pas de gel douche au restaurant 3 salières pour 400 couvert pas de sel pas de poivre 4 et 5 eme étoile bien acheté 😭 et j’en passe..pension complete eau pas compris ni aucune soda d’ailleurs fuite dans la salle de bain pas de dinars pour faire du change bon en gros une catastrophe etc etc
Todo bien falta animación música en la pecinay disponer de agua para vever por lo menos

Maravilloso trato del personal, muy serviciales y atentos. Nos dieron una suite de mayor nivel, al no coincidir las fotos de la suite que habíamos reservado que estaba puestas con la habitación que nos habían dado. Quería felicitar por lo gran profesional, atenta y servicial. Y sobretodo el detalle de darnos una suite de mayor nivel a la señorita Imen.
