"I stayed here during a snowstorm, which unfortunately highlighted a few issues during my stay. The biggest concern was the temperature while the living area was warm, the bedroom was freezing the entire time. The bedding didn’t help much either, as the comforters were very thin and definitely need to be upgraded. Service was also disappointing. I called the front desk to request water and was left on hold for about 10 minutes, then told someone would bring it up. After waiting over an hour with no follow-up, I called back but couldn’t get through just kept being placed on hold. I eventually went downstairs myself, where I was told they were short-staffed and waiting for someone to come in. I completely understand being understaffed, but that should have been communicated upfront instead of the lack of response. On my final day, a main pipe burst, and there was water everywhere. I didn’t feel like the situation was handled well, and I ended up having to follow up after I returned home. That said, there are positives. The location is great right on the beach and the restaurant on-site was really good with great staff, which stood out. Overall, I’d give this place 3 stars mainly because of the location and beachfront. With better maintenance, communication, and attention to guest comfort, this could be a much better experience."
