"Pros: Loved my stay, big spacious room with kitchen and balcony, very kid friendly and right on the boardwalk. Cons: The deposit was $200 and parking is across the street in a parking garage! Will definitely be back to visit soon!"

"Shutters is in a great central location on the Outer Banks. We stayed in two different rooms. An updated room on the third floor with a walk in shower an ocean view. The rest of the time we were on the second floor. Not updated but okay. There are a lot of different categories of rooms here. If I stayed again I would call the hotel and get an explanation of the room types. Being a first time guest it confused me. Staff was wonderful everywhere we went. I used the gym. Nice and cold. But didn’t use the pools or hot tub. I would stay again just chose a fourth floor ocean view tower room for best view."
