"This is an unstaffed facility. Our room was well-equipped with a refrigerator, oven/stove, Keurig coffee maker with pods of regular and decaf coffee, dishwasher, some dishes. But the climate-controlled suite is very spacious with a tremendous view of the river. It had a separate bedroom and "living" space. There were tv's in both the living space and the bedroom. I am technology-challenged and was unable to find either suitable things to watch or available channels to view. Unfortunately, the very adequate air conditioning blows very cold directly in the center of each of the spaces - bedroom, bathroom and living space. When it is on and blowing it is very cold. It blows directly on the bed - one scampers under the covers! Bathroom showering was great until one stepped out of the shower. The shower was great - plenty of room, water pressure and flow. But with the air handler on, it was very cold on one's naked semi-wet body. It is a simple, quick walk to the downtown attractions, shops and eateries; so very convenient! We did not get to try the TexMex restaurant attached to it. It was relatively clean but greater care could be given. There was hair and dust in the bathroom lavatory cabinet drawers. The toilet was clean on the most visible surfaces but the porcelain ring had not be cleaned under it in a while. The shower had a floor stain that looked to be from water left standing so long it had evaporated there. Trains came often and loudly. We enjoyed it."
"Room was clean and for once, with a wall A/C unit in the room, it did not smell super musty/mildew. Hopefully that means they are cleaning the A/C filters regularly.
Breakfast was quite nice, but drink options were lacking. Coffee or milk is all I saw.
Stayed at the end of May a week after Memorial Day, and the outdoor pool wasn't open.
Hopefully they fix their fire code violation of having luggage carts block the fire extinguisher cabinet in the lobby."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Town & Country hotel in Quincy for a friend's wedding. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our room was both clean and comfortable. A huge highlight for our group was the plenty of spacious common areas, which allowed us to gather and catch up after the reception. The complimentary breakfast was a nice, convenient touch to start our day."
