We can't comment on the hotel itself, but wanted to comment that while at the airport, we grabbed an unsanctioned Grab (after a 14 hour flight). We got dropped off at a hotel and the driver showed me a photo from "Expedia" with the name of this hotel and the same outside as the hotel we were in front of. The front desk person "informed me" that the hotel we booked didn't exist and that it had "been under renovation for months", and that we should "just stay here instead". Mr. Henry, from Airport Hotel Hanoi messaged to ask when he could pick us up from the airport after we had paid and thought we'd been scammed. We later drove by the real hotel and realized that we had been scammed by the "Grab" driver and the hotel owner that he drove us to. Be careful.

To be honest, I was very pleasantly surprised. Mr Henry was very attentive from the moment I booked. He confirmed my reservation and kept in contact to ensure everything was smooth sailing. He offers one way transportation for free which was nice, although being so close to the airport a Grab wouldn’t have been much anyway. He had his driver pick us up within minutes of informing him we were ready. I read several reviews that mentioned the hotel was difficult to find, so being picked up worked great because we didn’t have to worry about that. Mr Henry and his driver were very attentive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room we stayed in was very nice. It looked like it’s been recently renovated, it was clean, the ac worked great, the bathroom was very nice. Only thing I would suggest is add a couple more towels and a bath rug, because there’s a little splashing from the shower. The room was cozy but overall it was perfect. We only stayed one night to catch an intl flight the following morning. Would absolutely stay there again.

So, we booked this hotel for a stopover, however, without being advised of such and not realising until the following morning (we arrived very late) we had actually been taken to a different hotel so this is the one I’m reviewing! We had arranged a taxi to collect us to take us to our next destination and it was while waiting I suddenly realised that it was in fact not where we were supposed to be! Spoke to the guy at the hotel who explained that we couldn’t stay at the hotel we had booked so were taken there, he was very helpful though in that he contacted our driver to get him to collect us, albeit an exchange on the freeway!

Super close, clean and friendly!

I stayed at this location before flying out of Hanoi. The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the staff was very friendly. The next time I am there, I’ll be back!
