The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but the overall experience was disappointing and I wouldn’t stay again. Upon check-in, we were extremely tired but the front desk repeatedly pushed us to book tours. Even after politely declining, we were asked again every time we passed through the lobby, which felt uncomfortable and intrusive.
Our room was also not accurately advertised. It was located on the rooftop level, with the elevator only reaching the 7th floor — we had to carry luggage up an extra flight of stairs. The room itself felt more like a rooftop solarium than a hotel room: poorly insulated, very damp and cold, with no soundproofing. We could hear everything from outside, and the tin roof rattled constantly during wind and rain. Staff attempted to help, but it could not be resolved and sleep was very difficult.
The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and we found ants in the room that made their way into our luggage.
Breakfast was below expectations. On the first morning it was fine, but on the second day the dining area was full; we were told to come back later and ended up missing breakfast due to a scheduled tour. On the third day, we arrived an hour before closing and most items were already finished, with no replenishment.
To be fair, the staff did their best with what they could. The issues seem more related to management, property upkeep, and inaccurate room descriptions. Unfortunately, for the price, there are better and more comfortable hotels
