"Good place to stay in Kandy. Walking distance to most attractions. Unfortunately hotel has NO lifts and being 4 stories may prove difficult for some. Wide stairs and port service does overcome this but could be better. This should be highlighted in advertising. Breakfast buffet excellent, with evening meals available. Great view over Kandy spoilt a little by substandard building close next door. Hotel unlicensed for alcohol but I understand this is being addressed."

"Welcomed with open arms. View is spectacular Owner is friendly and wants to please Tuk Tuk driver is knowledgeable, a good driver and a gentle soul. Food opportunities in the area are available at the bigger hotels nearby but are not outstanding . I fact very ordinary. Better off to get Arjuth to take you down the hill. He knows the good places and is happy to help. Breakfast is included in the very reasonable room charge. Sadly though, the hygiene of the kitchen and surrounds leaves a lot...

"Great place to stay in Kandy! Rooms are clean, comfortable, and shower is great. Staff are true professionals and definitely want you to have a great stay. Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!"
