"This was a delightful, charming little hotel with Old California charm. The room was large, well-appointed, clean, and convenient. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating for the restaurant was wonderful, and the food was outstanding- served with charm and kindness by the cook himself. We had a most enjoyable stay."

"Great location in Long Beach easily walkable to Pikes/The Shoreline Village and bus/train stops. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable so a great base for our trip. A kettle in the room would be good, along with a bottle of water. My husband was ill on the last night and I had no cash for the vending machine, reception staff wouldn’t allow me to pay by card for just a bottle of water from the Refresh lounge, instead wanting me to pay $20 for lounge access to get one which let the experience down."

"It was very nice. I really have to give a shout out to the staff. I wish I was good at remembering names like the lovely lady who checked me in and replaced my room keys twice because I kept locking them in the room. It’s always a wonderful feeling to have people address you by name And they’ve only met you once."
