"The kitchen is very dated and requires a refurbishment (and a couple of light bulbs as multiple were blown.
Maybe a mouse trap or poison also, last morning there one mouse scurried across the floor to hole in the wall (kitchen).
Room was fine, staff were nice. (Winds were awful through the night and destroyed some of the playground equipment).
This is not our stay, previous stays were better.

"The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, the staff was fantastic, the only real thing lacking was amenities. Everything was a charge with few complimentary items, and at the price point it’s at felt a little crazy. But overall it was a great hotel and the chef staff upstairs were 10/10"

"The accommodation was good but what annoyed me is we tried to turn the tv and heating on (its winter in Chch) and there was no power to either. We looked everywhere for instructions but there was none. Very disappointed, we rugged up on a very cold night and went to sleep. Next morning I told the staff how we had to endure a freezing night and no tv. She was very rude and just said “you have to put your credit card in the slot”. Then proceded to ignore me. "Hi There,
staff were excellent, flexible and helpful - well presented etc.
The toilet (on the first day) had a bit of a smell, but otherwise everything cleaned and nice.
Some of the cabinetry within the room is showing quite a bit of wear and tear, including the carpet etc. Probably a sign of age.
All in all a good stay thanks, but just wanted to provide a bit of feedback.

"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable.
The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight.
What was most disappointing...
