Ours had a picture window view of the nature preserve behind the motel with deer and other local wildlife. Walking distance to nextdoor German-themed restaurant, and just a 5-minute drive from restaurants and shops at the heart of the historic district. Reasonably priced, and friendly, accomodating staff. "

"The place was very charming and the owners were extremely friendly. The location is perfect—a short walk to the historic Main Street. Our room was great and looked like it had been updated recently. Our only nits were the pillows and the breakfast, but the place is a tremendous value. We’ll be back the next time that we’re in Fredricksburg. "
