Great stay!!

This was a very comfortable B & B about 15 minutes drive from Harrisonburg in a lovely country setting. The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin had lots of character. The silk room was very quaint but did not have any cloths storage facility. Breakfast was at 9-00am and was a set menu (not a buffet), however there was Tea & coffee readily available in the lounge.

This is one of the best bed and breakfast places I have stayed at. Donna made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is fantastic down by the Shenandoah river with lots of space outside to hang around in. The rooms are comfortable with lots of places to relax inside as well.The breakfasts we had were first class. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in the area.

As we arrived at the house we knew we would enjoy our stay. It was well maintained and the front door and porch were tastefully decorated. We were welcomed by Chris who showed us around the property. Our room was spacious and attractive, the linen of high quality and the bathroom facilities good. The loft apartment was super cool, and we loved all the extra effort the host made to make it a fun place to visit. Everything inside worked perfectly, including the sauna and the record player. We visited from Liverpool, England, and it was so fun to put on the Beatles on vinyl! The location makes all of historic Staunton walkable, and there are many of useful stores, and many cute stores, and plenty of good options to eat out right there. We arrived in McGaheysville by accident, looking for a place to stay before entering the Shenandoah National Park. We had planned to stay two nights in Cave Hill, and we finally stayed four nights. This B&B is everything one could expect. The house is charming. The room is comfortable. The breakfast is deliciously and prepared each morning by Hannah, the innkeeper. Lovely historic group of buildings. Room was cozy and quiet. Lovely big bathroom and comfortable bed Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful Very old tv, picture was fuzzy. Also, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room (you can have a kettle, and teabags on request) but, seeing as there are no convenient stores/supermarkets nearby, it would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water in the fridge

A good and comfortable place to lay your head. there is a local cinema and a couple of restaurants that are walking distance but the main town is around a two Mile drive away. Harrisonburg is a good base to explore Shenandoah from
