"Cutest little place to stay!"

"From the outside it looks like an old timey 1950’s hotel. However, the rooms and bathrooms have been totally redone inside and they’re beautiful. Would stay again. A hidden gem. A Few good restaurants not far down the street, too. "

"The attention to detail here is amazing. They had coloring books for the kids (that I mentioned were coming in passing after the owner messaged me upon booking) and extra towels without us having to request it. Room was very clean. Has a great view. Fantastic customer service…and we haven’t even had the homemade cinnamon rolls yet. "

"It was a pleasure staying at the Watchapreague Inn. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, it’s right on the water, with a beautiful park with gazebo across the street, as well as a top rated seafood restaurant. The bed was stiff, and the staff actually brought me a foam mattress topper! My husband loved his stiff bed. Great little gift shop with a wide selection of t-shirts and gifts, free breakfast, very good coffee, free bicycles and kayaks too. I highly recommend this...

"This property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. "

"Lovely respite. Comfortable cottage with three beds (two bedrooms) and one bathroom, plus view of a picturesque pastoral scene: a field of green grass, white fence, a friendly dog who politely asks to play ball if you like (and leaves you alone if you don’t), and the occasional mooing of the cows in the distance. There’s WiFi in the house if you need it (no WiFi in cottages) but it’s the kind of place where it’s a good idea to unplug. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee first thing in the...
