"Staff was friendly and told us our room could be noisey due to it being right over bar but should quite down after 11. The noise from bar did , but not from the outside. Street noise and possibly church bells (staff guess when told them) , but really didn’t sound like bells, continued way into the night. The breakfast was just ok. We ordered the traditional. Over easy eggs were greasy, cubed potatoes ( small portion ) and biscuit (only 1 per plate) were hard and cold. Coffee, juice and cereal...

"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."

"Room was clean and spacious, there was a shared living room on the floor that housed free coffee, tea, cereal and pastries. Very close to salem, beautiful historic house."

"If u like BED 🛌 and BREAKFAST 🍳 Kind of Hotel/Motel than Only GO I had a first time stay and it was totally different experience than the commercial Hotels. Otherwise everything was perfect with nice Fresh Made Breakfast served in Glass plates with Silver Spoon Forks and Knife.👍"
