"From the moment we walked, we knew this was a special place. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was pristine. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The location of this inn is perfect, walking distance to downtown, bars, shops, restaurants. Don’t miss dining in the restaurant for dinner, that was a lovely experience too."

"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."

The only reason for a less than stellar review is that we chose this Inn because my parents had previously stayed there and loved the room and amenities and wanted to have the same experience again.
