"I have known and loved the Beekman for decades. It is genteel-ly worn but a great location with a nice breakfast. I recommend trying to stay in the actual inn or the Firehouse. The more motel rooms are fine but not quite as nice. Wonderful location and fabulous staff!"

"This was a last minute booking on a whim to see Savannah's historic district for the first time. Great location. Free parking for guests. You can walk to everything close by within minutes. Amazing food in the restaurant. (Book your reservation as soon as you arrive) Great bar atmosphere and they will serve the full dinner menu if you can't get a table. "We enjoyed our overnight at Lamie's. We stayed in the older section and the brick wall and 4 poster beds added a homey, authentic feel to the vibe of the Old Salt Tavern next door. Beds comfortable, room clean. The rooms & bathroom are a little small but perfect if your plan doesn;t include spending lots of time in your room. We came to visit friends in the area and had lunch and dinner at the Old Salt which was really convenient to just come downstairs rather than having to drive somewhere...
