"The night staff's English was very difficult to understand and she was fairly brusque and not overly helpful. I felt like she would rather have been elsewhere than at the desk helping customers. There is no elevator in the hotel and we had a lot of bags, some containing valuable items, and we were not comfortable with storing them with the staff, so wound up schlepping about 7 heavy bags up and down stairs. The morning staff was very pleasant and efficient. Not one of our better stays at Coast Inn."

"Took over 10 minutes of calling to get anyone to answer then the shuttle took another 20 minutes. Hotel was dingy and out of date. Food all over the floor in the hallways. Behind the hotel was nefarious activity with lots of coming and goings throughout the night and questionable characters. The morning shuttle driver was great. "
