"Pool was closed indefinitely and we booked here for the pool"

"Cleaning Staff was friendly, front desk was not overly nice by any means. Although He was prompt to come to the desk when I got there to check in. The room had an unpleasant Odor to it upon walking into it. The bathroom door did not close or open all the way. When we opened the refrigerator there was leftover food and beverages from someone before us. The floor was terribly dirty and there were several dead bugs on the bathroom floor. "We liked that it was pet-friendly and our room was clean. It was extremely hot due to the A/C being turned off. We only stayed in the room long enough to change clothes, so not sure how long it took to cool the room down, as we were gone for several hours. The room is dated, but we were only there to sleep for one night. The front desk person was wearing house shoes and a t-shirt, which seemed strange to me, but she was friendly. "The front desk help was so helpful and we really enjoyed ourselves. Hot tub in the room was very relaxing. The room and stairwell did smell very musty like mold."

"I booked this property specifically because it had a hot tub. When I arrived, the hot tub was not functional and seemed it hadn't been for awhile. I understand that parts break, but if a property is taking an amenity away for an extended period of time, it should be removed from the listing and those who already booked it should be informed so that the reservation can be cancelled and I could find another place with a hot tub, or choose to keep the reservation knowing there no longer is one...

"Not sure about pets, as I did not have one. Did not use the spa. The room was very clean. The bathroom was big. I would stay here again. "

"BarDew Valley Inn and its owner, Perry, were amazing!! The suite decor was fun (ours was a French Chateau), and the common areas beautiful and comfortable. Perry offers a movie room with a huge selection of DVDs, as well as satellite TV in both the common area and each suite. And his breakfast each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay again (and maybe try a different suite!) when we are in that area again."
