"This hotel was a really great and amazing stay. The room was clean and very modern with all the amenities you could need plus some extra luxuries such as a bottle of Prosecco! The staff were there to ensure we had a smooth check in and were really friendly and welcoming. "The place is very convenient next to the airport. The shuttle is great. It would be good to have the shuttle stop and the actual gates though. The place is clean and it was easy to check in and check out. For the most part the staff was helpful, though one of the staff was not helpful at all. I called and asked about an item that I needed ( lotion or toothpaste) and she did not want to help. She kept on saying no we don't have and then I asked if they have it at the vending/store I front. I don't want to come out of the room if they didn't have it. She still didn't want to help and hung up on me."

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."

"I stayed here for a week and I loved my time here! Genuinely wish I didn’t have to leave. You’re at Amsterdam Centra station within 15 minutes!!! Great location and amenities! The hotel was slightly confusing to get to at first, as you think you should head left when exiting the train station as that’s where it looks like more hotels are, but really you turn right and head towards an elevator, stairs & escalator! Head towards the bike parking garage if you’re confused!! Once you make it there you’ll see the hotel and walk down making your way thru a small park. Having a grocery store right across was so helpful and handy, as I enjoyed grabbing snacks and drinks to have in the very handy room fridge!!! The room had AC which was perfect for the heatwave happening. The tv was perfect. Shower was lovely and so were the shampoo & conditioner. Room cleaning was on the 3rd day and it was so nice to not have to worry about someone cleaning every day! Location was perfect, so easy to run up to the train and catch a train within minutes. Staff were so nice and helped me find my room and fix my keycards for me when they stopped one night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Can’t wait to come back to Zaandam and the Zaan Hotel!!!"

"Modern hotel 4 mins walk from Sloterdijk station so easy to get about. I feel safe as a solo traveller. Hotel is a large conference/convention hotel .. but also fine for travellers. Breakfast was nice. Prices were good for Amsterdam! Everything works. No complaints. The train line is direct to the airport."
