"Everything about this hotel was good. The only thing that I had a slight problem with was the shower head didn’t move. When I did try to move it, the whole shower head fell off. I was able to screw it back on, but that was quite a surprise after a looooong day of traveling from NY."

Good on-site breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Asked for late checkout but didn't get it. "My family and I always enjoy our stay at Hilo Hawaiin Hotel. The hotel is situated in an ideal location which is close to shopping, beautiful beaches and the airport. Hilo has become one of our family's favorite destinations as the atmosphere is so laid back and relaxing. "Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "
