"Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "

"This is an older hotel, no a/c or elevator, still uses keys, looks beat down from the hallway. Nice clean pool and direct access to some lava rock tide pools. TBH the view of the bay and the sound of the waves made it worth it- but I’d sleep in my car for that sound! Microwave and fridge came in handy. A low cost option for Hilo."

"The beach is the best. Just about all negative aspects of the property are measured against the gorgeous water and wonderful beach. The room was a bit dated. Carpet looked tired, small roaches in bathroom sink area. The fat foam pillows are uncomfortable. "Every poor review I've read on this place is excused away by the owners - so get ready for their response. I am a seasoned traveler. This is probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I am not sure how it gets a 9/10 on Expedia. Booked for 2 nights, but left after the 1st.
