"Everything was fantastic! The only odd thing is that there wasn’t a headboard on the bed. The staff was very kind! If you look at the window latch on the courtyard side of the room, it might say “made in occupied Japan” on the knob, which if you know your history, it should give you a solid idea on the age of the hotel. But the place is in great shape, seems freshly remodeled, and really is quite a treasure. The song of the night birds is mesmerizing! One word of caution for late arrivals...

"Beautiful resort, great room and service but be prepared to walk a lot. The tram system doesn’t work that well by the end of our stay we didn’t even bother checking the schedule we just walked and beat the team most of the time. Also the cost to park is outrageous. You get charged $50/day. Highest rate I’ve experienced. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. The Concierge was fantastic. We enjoyed all the activities she planned for us; top notch adventures.
