"Excellent room, we had an executive suite and the view was marvellous as was the huge four poster bed. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had, proper cumberland sausages - what can I say!. Staff were also excellent especially Joanne the manager who went above and beyond to make our 4 night stay very enjoyable. We had 2 meals in the hotel pub and again the food was of a very high standard, one meal was a sunday roast which I found absolutely superb. Will definitely stay here...

"The location is the big selling point; views over the lake are exceptional. The menu has a good choice, but doesn't vary from day-to-day. That could become an issue for a longer stay, but if it looks good on the menu, it will be good when it's served. The location sold it, but the staff made the trip exceptional. They really made us feel like ensuring we enjoyed our stay was their personal mission.

"The setting overlooking the mountains was beautiful and quiet. The B&B itself is wonderful, well kept up and very clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice, helpful and accommodating. Plenty of parking. Breakfast served promptly and was delicious. Getting into Keswick is walkable but uphill on the return (we chose to drive into town). Overall, a wonderful place to stay!"

"What a gem, I have never been to the Lake District before and my jaw dropped the second you pull into the car park. I had made a note that we were celebrating a few special occasions and were given an upgrade I believe and a lovely card when we got to our room.
