"Loved this hotel (motel technically, with outside door entrances but inside a secured gated area ). It’s a highly remodeled former holiday inn, but don’t let that deter you. This is the definition of a boutique hotel. I loved the decor, the amenities, the friendly staff. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night since I would have taken advantage of the pool area, and more. The only (slight) drawback is, since the rooms have outdoor entrances the noise of the outside was much more prominent. However once I went to bed and had my earplugs in, which I use 100% of the time anyway, plus had the fan on, I didn’t not hear any noise at all overnight. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel. I will definitely be back! "

"First off the hotel doesn’t look anything like the website. The place had a weird smell to it. The hallway and room smelled. I have a CPAP machine and had to change the filter when I got home because the smell was in the filter. We paid for 2 nights and checked out after one. I told the front desk clerk we were checking out early. They didn’t even ask why or anything. They offered a continental breakfast but we pasted on it because of the condition of the hotel. We had breakfast elsewhere. Do not stay here"

"Good fresh breakfast, low on fresh fruit, otherwise OK. Friendly and efficient check in and check out. Clean spacious and well-equipped room. Hotel is newer and up to date with spacious wonderful shower. Great location and good value for Bardstown and visiting the Bourbon Trail and related history and visitor attractions. Located away from downtown and restaurants but only minutes away by car."

"Advertised with an indoor pool. Of course it’s May and it closed for repairs/maintenance so the extra money I paid to stay here so my kids could swim where sadly disappointed. Breakfast is a joke."

"I rented two rooms while in town for the Derby. One room had NO toilet paper, soap or any other normal toiletrie items there were no hangers, no iron/or board. The other had minimal toilet paper and a paper thin bar of soap the size of a cheezit. There were ants in the bathroom tub area. The room above was occupied with someone screaming and cursing at what seemed to be his wife through the entire night. The room next to was occupied by someone who could not get his truck running and spent the evening working on it. The rooms were not made up during our 3 night stay. I believe the property is under new ownership and pending "remodel ". It would be more prudent to tear it down and rebuild. I could not in good conscious say anything about this property other than stay away. The only positive was the southern charm and bubbly personality of the lady who checked us in. Expedia should remove this from there site as it is very misleading."

"The manager was so helpful and wanted to carry our luggage to our room. Small bar was so well stocked and fun meeting other people. The manager even put on the hockey game we wanted to watch. Breakfast was not your normal free breakfast. It was so well stocked and everything was so fresh. The biscuits and gravy tasted homemade. The gentleman running the breakfast was asking everyone if they needed something and bringing juice, ect. right to your table."
