Great location that is very walkable. The property itself is quite old but in good condition. I would recommend the property however, with the understanding that the motel is very basic.

Was very impressed with this Hotel it is older but they have it maintain very well, sometimes older hotels smell musky but this one did not, I ended up with one king bed and was very impressed with having a rocker Recliner and asked if all the rooms had then and she said no just the end rooms but I have an Aunt that can't travel because she has to sleep sitting in a recliner and when I broke my wrist it was very uncomfortable sleeping in a bed, more hotels should offer a recliner even a fee like a they do roll around beds for disabled customers that need a recliner for medical reasons, Breakfast was Good and a variety of items, I would stay here again if I ever go Back to Bardstown, KY (only thing would be nice is if they had a Hot Tub & Indoor Pool)

The room we were in was pretty dirty. We were on the first floor so I can understand the occasional bug (ants, flys, beetles) with it being a motel style building. However the bugs were pretty consistent within the two days we were there. (Ended up leaving a day early). There were also several large spiderwebs that had dead bugs in them so you could they had been there for a while. Throughout the room there were small pieces of trash. The walls and ceilings were stained with various dirt splatters and cracks. And even though the hotel room was smoke free; it very much smelled like cigarette smoke. We also thought it was odd that there was no hand soap provided. The pictures definitely make it seem nice and you can tell where they’ve tried to quickly remodel/update some features of the property. The staff were all friendly and nice.

Room is very clean, staff are all so sweet, and the breakfast is very good too! We had a very pleasant stay and room temp and bed comfort was great! We will def stay again even though it’s not a huge room and it’s an older hotel, it’s well kept up. Great location too!

Fun Family Vacation

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is clean, and comfortable. We love the pool, the breakfast, and the close proximity to town.
