Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. During the evening could here loud bangs from other rooms… on returning on early evening from a meal found the police where arresting a male for breach of his bail… overall would never return to this hotel or ibis in the future"

"Most of the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine and staff good. Unfortunately restaurant closes a little early and they stop taking orders 15 mins prior. We arrived at the restaurant 25 mins prior to closing and was behind another guest. The manager told us to wait as he would be right back but only came back 10 mins later to tell us that we would need to go eat elsewhere as the restaurant was closing. Without exception, the team of people running the accommodation and the adjacent pub and restaurant were friendly, efficient and committed to making our stay enjoyable. "Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...
