"The check in for starters is very odd. The first thing they make you sign is a disclaimer not to get the wood floors wet etc. or there is an additional charge. The next odd thing is we used the sauna located in the basement which is under construction. So it doesn’t really feel like the pictures. The next item, you need to use their sandals which you are required to deposit 25 CHF in cash per set. You cannot apply to the room or use a credit card hold etc. Not exactly welcoming or relaxing....

"The reception staff was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the area, fluent in multiple languages and really helpful with information and assistance supplying us for our weekend stay. Apartment was clean, roomy and had everything we needed to stay in or go out (including much needed Nespresso and umbrellas). Everything is very walkable from the location. Was made to feel like a special guest."

"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. "This hotel was an amazing retreat during our month long city hopping trip. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, right next to laundry room, excellent breakfast, and even had a private balcony where we would sit each night and reflect on the day. Very close to train station and grocery store, plus our host gave us a handy map to use. Train/bus is very easy to use in Interlaken, so sites were very easy to access and the hotel gave us a card we could use for free local public transport. The...

"Central location short walk from Interlaken West station. Peter on reception was very helpful when enquiring about my itinerary. Room clean and well equipped. Breakfast was great, good range of continental optiins along with boiled or scrambled eggs available. Hot drinks available throughout the day. Would defo recommend "
