"Great room with lovely seating area in the middle of Ilfracombe. Carparking handy and cheap. Lots to do and see. Just one problem with the gutter outside the room leaking with heavy rain and very noisy. A part from that, perfect, with Woolacombe bay surfing just 15mins down the road."

"Great views from the kitchen and huge place! A convenient central location means it can get a little noisy at night (it's next to two pubs), but that's the inevitable trade-off. Not fancy, but a great price."

"Great very reasonably priced stay at Avoncourt. Came down to Ilfracombe for a few days with an early trip to Lundy planned for one of the days. Helpful staff arranged for us to be able to have a light breakfast before we left. The second day we weren’t in as much of a rush and had an amazing breakfast of shakshuka - fantastic before a long hike on the south west coast path. Would recommend."
