Farmstay in Helsingborg Municipality

"Room was clean. Hotel location was great - close to transit and across the street from a beautiful city lake. Air conditioning was ineffective - room was always too warm which made it difficult to sleep. Bright light on thermostat also hindered sleep. Buffer breakfast was nice. Biggest issue was when I was checking out, I asked the lady at the front desk if I could leave my bags there for a while. She suggested I use lockers in the train station. Then she said there were lockers downstairs. I went in search of these lockers but couldn’t access them via the elevators. When I returned to the front desk there was now a big line of guests checking out with bags, and that same lady was directing them over to a young man standing next to the shop. He was tagging the bags, and rolling them into a room behind the shop. I got into the queue and the gentleman took my two bags and gave me a ticket so I could pick them up later. The whole process took at least 30 minutes. I don’t know why they treated me differently in that way, but it is enough to guarantee that I won’t be staying here in the future."

"The room was clean and more spacious than I expected. The bathroom and shower booths were very convenient to use as well. I would recommend staying here!"

"Hotel is in a great location. I found the room to be very quiet. Housekeeping did a great job. The wifi didn’t work during my stay. Messaged reception 3 times, no response. Went to the desk to be told no one else had an issue. Was emailed to say that I was to come to reception, quickly followed by another email to say that the internet was having issues because the hotel was fully booked. I had emailed prior to my stay requesting early check in - no reply back. In decades of travelling I’ve never had to pay to store my luggage in a hotel - before and after stay. It cost about 12 euros to keep my bag for a few hours. Staff didn’t know what size the lockers were or if I would need two. Person in front of me was allowed to store their luggage for a lower fee. I was given two different prices by different members of staff for early check in. You have to go to reception in person to request housekeeping. There are no black out blinds in the room, it’s lovely and bright but hard to sleep. No toilet paper in the public bathrooms. Overall just a really frustrating experience. Go with really low expectations and enjoy the amazing location."

"Great hotel, about 15 mins walk to Tivoli Gardens but close to Christianshavn and Freetown Christiania across the footbridge. Views across the lakes are amazing. Rooms are comfy if a little stuffy, windows do open but there is traffic noise.from.the busy road outside. Rooms are comfy though limited storage for anything other than hanging clothes. Only showers in rooms but plenty of hot water and good pressure. Beds are comfy if a little on the firm side. Upgraded rooms come with higher floors, robes and slippers and a coffee maker which were nice but not sure if worth the extra of the standard price. You can bid to get a better roomwhich is good value. Breakfast isnt automatically included so check the room rate. Breakfast had a good range of items but got very busy at peak times, the servery could do with being bigger and more spread out but the quality and freshness were great. Whilst there are 6 elevators every time you get in one, it seems to stop multiple times - especially if you're in a higher floor. The foyer and bar/lounge are gorgeous and really nice spaces, the staff were really helful too especially after a few mix ups following the upgrade we chose. I'd recommended the hotel as the views are great but it is a bit further out of the centre because of this. Not much nearby the hotel so you'll need to walk or jump on public transport to go out. "

"Nice cheap hotel. Less than 10 min walk from a Copenhagen central station, and even closer to many attractions. Breakfast is very expensive, room is very small as expected, no AC but also no control on heat… we were lucky to come in may as it was randomly hot in the middle of the night and we opened the balcony door every time."
