"I liked my stay. Being a solo female traveller, I never felt threatened about my safety here. The hosts are very friendly. It is an amazing place to hangout with friends or making new friends. The idea of putting 1 € in the donate box placed over the top of the refrigerator and grabbbing any can/bottle of beer or ice-cream from the fridge was one of the thing I liked the most. This is on the other side of San Sebastián so added several km to an already long hike...in addition the check in process is the worst I've ever experienced. It took us 2 hours + as there is no person at the front desk to help. "Excellent for; Great location at the heart of the old city is San Sebastian. Wide room with comfortable bed. Noted; Very noisy with loud music till mid night around 2 am. Strongly recomends to have earplugs. Limited hot water from shower only for 5 min, and it becomes cold water, take care."

"I stayed here for 2 days. Firstly, hotels.com forgot to send me late check-in instructions, which I emailed them about. The room was ok. The pillow was really uncomfortable. There is no lock on the room. Shower was ok. I wake up to construction noise in the morning. There is no proper kitchen and if someone is cooking you can smell it from your bed. "

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"Share facilities can differ dependant on guest using at the time. however there are house rules given to you on arrival which you sign a recognition form stating a fine if you break house rules. My experience... drunk males & females shouting down the hallways to each other, people violently vomiting into the toilets, used condoms left in bathroom/toilets & paper thin walls that you can hear every sound. This was not in dorms this was private rooms with shared bathrooms"
