"Great place to stay even if you're not a golfer! Lovely grounds with great views. The room was perfectly clean, sizable and well equipped. Food was very good and the dinning room overlooks the course and further afield. Staff were extremely welcoming, professional and very friendly."

"Dusty room in areas. Rubbish behind bedside cabinet. Couldn’t get to plug easily to charge my phone as it was behind the cabinet and when pulled out there was thick dust and rubbish behind it. No deep clean for a long time. Dirty windows, old cobwebs around it. Pool was not in use so very disappointed as we had stayed there for this reason. "

"Lovely staff, very helpful. Decent hotel, good location for golf and racing. Shame about the restaurant though. Disappointing starter of ‘succulent prawns’ and crab custard. Instead of prawns they used tiny shrimps and couldn’t taste any crab. We ordered two starters, but were told after ordering that that only had one left. Bearing in mind this was only at 6pm, I hope no one else wanted the same! They did deduct it off the bill however. We ordered chip with our mains but had to wait until...
