"We gave notice 1-1/2 days in advance of cancellation of three days of a six-night reservation. The motel manager wouldn’t give consent to Expedia of the refund so we were ripped off of over $150. What recourse do we have? The manager was belligerent and our conversation was heated, and he called the police. Refused to cooperate with us. Nothing happened with the police but he got away with our money. This is criminal!"

"I will never stay there again. The toilet was dirty upon check in, the thermostat knob on heating unit was broken and didnt work and i asked to have it fixed and never was and the key cards didnt work on our last day before check out so i had to get a replacement. "

"Room floors were filthy, my wife walked around for 5 mins and the bottom of her feet were black and she had to shower it off. We had to wear sandals to protect are feet. I took a wash cloth and wiped the floor to show manager and it was black. Manager tried to say it was the wood floor bleeding off stain, which couldn’t be true! Someone didn’t use clean water to rise and clean floor. We will not be going here again"

"Parking was safe. No amenities. Would stay somewhere else in the future."

"The hallways still have "new carpet" smell. My room was spotless, including the bathroom with its shiny white bathtub. The attendant at breakfast was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and parking was convenient. If you enjoy Holiday Inn Express, you will love this brand new hotel. Tip: Ask for a room facing NW Mullholland Drive (instead of I-5) if road noise bothers you. "
