"A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so can’t comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated. The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. "I was in The Tack Room, which seems to be fitted out for disabled visitors. 2 single bed, but both too firm to be comfortable for me. Quirky mixture of old and a bit newer, but had charm and character. Very quiet location. Nice breakfast, though sausages were a bit peppery."

"This centrally located hotel is perfect for a trip in or around Morpeth. We were a group of four in two rooms. The rooms were large and spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. The rooms and public areas would benefit from some decoration as they detract from the fantastic customer service the staff offers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area"
