"This boutique hotel was a wonderful place to stay and great choice for a relaxing trip! Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There is a small on-site shop, and the owner and her mother were especially kind and attentive, which added a very personal touch to the experience. Location: The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Puerto Plata airport, which made arrival and departure very easy. It also has a parking lot. It's within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The area felt very safe, we never experienced any issues, and there was a visible presence of military police, who were always friendly. Room: Our room was quite spacious and comfortably accommodated 4 of us, with a king-size bed and twin- trundle, along with a dining table and large refrigerator. While everything was comfortable a few small updates (such as touch ups in the bathroom and replacing hangers) would make the space even better. But these were minor and did not impact our overall comfort. Overall: This is a great option for families, couples or even singles. The property has direct beach access, just past the pool and beautiful lounge area, which was the highlight. Their on-site restaurant (available as an all- inclusive option) has a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its an open-air provides beautiful and calming views of the beach and nearby cliffs, making this stay even more enjoyable. We would recommend!"

"The room was amazing, loved that there were separate rooms as well as living space and a small kitchen. The place was clean and generally well taken care of, really the only knock was that the shower heads were problems. One wasn't properly fastened to the wall so it would spin around and soak the bath room. The other shower head was just broken so water shot out in ways it wasn't. LOVED the pools for the kids and the proximity to the beach and to the shops on the main street."
