A decent hotel

This is a decent budget hotel, exactly what we needed. Approx. 20 minutes from the port of Caen. We arrived after 11pm and received a pleasant greeting. Parking is secure which was great for us as we had bikes on the back of the car. Room was clean, bit strange that the toilet was separate from the bathroom but no big deal. Would stay again.

Perfect for the early ouistreham ferry

It was a quick book-in, room lovely. Lovely outlook into trees so very quiet and not overlooked. Just stayed for the night but 15 minutes traffic-free drive to the ouistreham ferry.

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted as it was close to ferry port. We were able to drive to local places but also a short walk from the hotel and you can get a tram into Caen which also has a train station if needed. The breakfast was lovely and the room was basic but clean.

Ideal for ferry travellers.

Quick stop over after coming off the ferry. All good. Great secure parking and easy route in and out from main routes. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast.

We had a family room which had 2 bedrooms and slept 5, the room was large enough and well laid out for a family. We only stayed one night prior to catching the Ferry the following morning, which was convenient being only a 15min drive and easy to navigate.

Ideal for a stopover

Close to ferry port which made it perfect for a night following a late crossing. Easy and plentiful on-site parking is great when arriving late. Great room for family of 5! Essentially one double room and a triple for the kids within one unit was ideal. Very good breakfast and friendly staff is always a big bonus. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety, the dinner menu was. Little light for choice but the food was good. Room was clean, bathroom felt a bit tired.

Really nice room for a short (few days) stay.

We have arrived late at night as came from night time ferry, the potter who welcomed us was very friendly. Room was nice and had separate bedroom for kids. It was a very modern and clean room, although beds could be more comfortable as they seemed to be on a quite firm side. Very powerful shower was great, and really needed after a hot day out. Despite very hot weather room was kept cool at nice temperature. Breakfast was very nice, and had a lot of choice, so even our fussy little man found something to have. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Above and Beyond

Friendly, helpful and very accommodating front staff. Breakfast was great - lots of options - especially like the variety of breads, jams and eggs. Beds were very comfy. After a long and busy day at the sights and museum in Caen, we arrived about 7 pm expecting to have a nice dinner and a glass of wine. Unfortunately the dining room was closed because they were hosting a bus tour group. Ugh!! rather disappointing - the staff suggested several local restaurants or take out. So we decided on a pizza take-out and when I went back down to the desk to have them help me order, the kitchen staff took pity on a little old lady and made us a very nice meal with salad - and a big glass of wine. That was a sign of "above and beyond" and very much appreciated. A suggestion would be have a portion of the restaurant partitioned off for guests who are not on a tour - even just a portable type screen. Interestingly enough we were from Canada and we could hear the people in the tour group talking about "back home in Canada" The dining room is beautifully appointed - outdoor patio looked very inviting - just that the weather didn't cooperate. Liked the parking lot - felt safe leaving the car overnight - rather than in a public parking lot or on the street. Very quiet - had a great sleep Would definitely stay again - and recommend it to others.
