"The hotel and staff were excellent and if you have an event at Jakobshalle the no 14 tram stop is 2 blocks and goes direct. My only issue was the area that lacked restaurants and limited hours"

"This hotel is within walking distance of so many cafés, attractions, and transit, and it’s easy to get to the hotel from Basel SBB. I really loved sitting out in the garden with the welcome drink that they give you when you arrive! And the staff were friendly and helpful, and also spoke multiple languages. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything you need (except a mini fridge). There’s a small bar onsite, and they serve an extensive breakfast. They have tea and coffee available all the time."

"Was glad to have a room for a week. Convenient location with accessible public transit. The river was also just across the street, and I loved going there to watch the ducks. My only two concerns were (1) the bed wasn’t really comfortable and (2) the room had a cooktop but no pots or pans."
