Quiet location, lovely friendly owners.

Great place to relax away from the main tourist resort but only a 5 minute taxi ride away if you want a more lively nightlife. Lovely owners, clean rooms and beaches only a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend

Sehr schöne Appartemtanlage

Nach langer Sucherei kamen wir im Hotel Kretanatur an. Wir wurden herzlich von Georges und Maria begrüßt. Von ihnen haben wir auch manchen wertvollen Ausflugstip erhalten. Wir frühstückten auf der Dachterasse mit einem herrlichen Blick zum Meer. Die ganze Anlage ist geschmackvoll angelegt. Störend haben wir nur den Fluglärm empfunden.

Hidden Jewel of a hotel

George and Maria are the best hosts you could wish for, very friendly and accommodating but above all, laid back. The hotel was very quiet when we arrived for the first stop on our island road trip. We were welcomed with a cold drink which was needed! The room was of a good size, bathroom was a bit dated but clean and functional. The only thing I can say negative about anything was the bed, like a lot of european beds it would have been as comfortable sleeping on the floor, it was rock hard. Air con was great, as was breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the sea. I wish we could have spent more time here, 2 days was not enough.

Abbiamo alloggiato al Kreta Natura Apartments per una settimana. Consiglierei questo posto? No. La posizione è assolutamente fuori dal mondo, o si ha la macchina o non ci si arriva (non sta a Hersonissos ma ad Anissaras). Non c'è nemmeno una fermata dell'autobus nelle vicinanze e non ci sono negozi facilmente raggiungibili. L'unico modo per arrivare a Hersonissos è il taxi, 7-8 euro a tratta rigorosamente senza ricevuta e senza tassametro. L'ultima sera ci ha riportate un tassista ubriaco, non vi dico la paura tra quele stradine buie e desolate. Gli appartamenti sono piccolissimi, l'illuminazione (sia naturale che artificiale) è praticamente inesistente, il rumore delle cicale in realtà è un vero e proprio frastuono. Il complesso, in compenso, è nuovo e tenuto bene. Apparentemente i proprietari sono disponibili anche se poi, nel nostro caso, non sono stati così "affabili" come in realtà cercano di sembrare. Se potete alloggiate in centro e state attenti anche a chi noleggia gli scooter/quad. Giocano sui prezzi del noleggio e dell'assicurazione, vi fanno credere che è tutto compreso invece non è così.

Schöne Anlage - aber etwas ab vom Schuss

Sehr schöne, kleine Anlage. Von allen umliegenden die Beste. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und herzlich. Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber! Allerdings finde ich die Lage nicht besonders. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und konnten so alles problemlos erkunden. Ohne Mietwagen stelle ich mir das dort jedoch etwas schwierig vor?! (Habe nicht auf Bushaltestellen geachtet.) Kann es jedoch mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen! :)

oasis of calm

I stayed in this hotel while attending a conference at the nearby Royal Knossos hotel (10 mins walk away) and it was ideal. Incredible value and the hotel has everything you need (including mini-kitchen so you can actually self cater if you want, or just brew the odd cup of tea). Pool is a good size and I mostly had it all to myself, plenty of space to lie in the sun or sit in the wonderful garden. The only minor snag is that because I was there for work, i needed constant internet access, which was only available outside in the pool/bar area, which is not under cover if it rains and is difficult to use during the day when it's sunny (or at night in the dark). I suspect the wireless network might reach the rooms closest to the pool, but it doesn't reach the ones at the end nearest reception. THere are plenty of small mini-markets nearby which sell basic food, and Hersonnisos is about a 20 minute walk away, where you'll find more than enough bars, restaurants, shops and beaches (and buses to Heraklion). The owner and his wife are lovely and speak reasonable English, they are more than happy to help with any questions and concerns.

Just a pleasure

I really enjoyed my stay at Georges place, where the owner on its self takes care about his customers. Breakfast is either surfed at the room or on the pool. George is wonderful and helpfull whenever possible. The way to the beach ois about 7 minutes.

A quiet time in Hersonissos - with driving directions!

This is my first ever review. I almost did not book this hotel because there were no reviews - but I found some on other web sites. First off - it a typical small (only 16 apartments) greek hotel - all the basic facilities as listed. Everything was as expected and the owners George and Maria were a charming couple. I had a sea view - although I also overlooked the pool area of another hotel -and a quiet time. However if you're looking for action or even restaurants you really need a car - in my opinion. There's not much close by - a couple of shops and a restaurant - Hersonissos is 2km away - where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. I knew this and so was not disappointed - I had a hire car. No one gives you good directions and the internet maps are limited. So if you are driving from the airport - take the main highway towards Agios Nikolaos for about 25 mins. Come off at the junction for Kastelli and Hersonissos - and turn left to Hersonissos. At the end of the road turn right onto the old Highway. After 2min there is a shell garage on the right. Turn left to the Lidl supermarket and drive up the road on the right of Lidl. Left where a road joins from the right, then right at the t junction by the fur shop. At the next xroads with a group of shops turn left/straight with the car hire on your right. At the next xroads turn right and the hotel is right thereon your right. Good luck.

Très bon accueil, très aimable. Langues parlées : grec et anglais. Piscine et jardin très bien entretenus.Parking. Chambres très spacieuses et propres. Hotel un peu difficile à trouver et un peu loin de la plage à pied.
