"The room was clean and most of the staff was very nice. The person that checked me in was very kind. However, there were cockroaches all over the property, inside and out. I was visiting with my boyfriend and some of his colleagues had bedbugs in their rooms. While washing clothes, someone had an issue with the large washing machine, and they had to physically remove all of their clothes from the machine that made the floor sopping wet. "Rose at the front desk is AWESOME! She creates everyone with a smile and truly makes you feel welcome. She does not get flustered when the system is not working the way it should. I observed her helping pick up dishes in the little cafe area. While doing so she greeted every guest with a smile asking them how their day is going so far etc. I have been in customer service for over 35 years and truly believe she is an asset to to this hotel and company."

"Love the room with a balcony overlooking Lake Gregory. Comfortable king bed, fireplace, but you have to buy or bring your own wood. Across the street from a grocery store that has everything you could possibly need. Loved our stay. Would definitely go back."

"Fishing dock was out of order due to updates and no alternative was offered. This was a main perk we were looking forward to using and a main reason for booking. Breakfast at the hotel took forever to be served and the parfait was terrible - extremely overripe banana used, few blueberries and a tiny sprinkle of granola. Extremely disappointing.
