"The hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend this as a must to visit or stay when visiting Cornwall. The views were spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. The restaurant was a real treat with amazing cuisine from the breakfast through to the fine dining experience in the evening. The accommodation was superb and definitely value for money. "

"Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."

"It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall."

"Room was lovely, comfortable and classy. Decor was excellent and there were some excellent touches such as a beach bag and dry robes you could use while you stay. Even a stamped postcard to send home if you wish. Staff were excellent and food was good"
