Try to get one of the 4 sea dacing rooms withe a balcony. Helpful, friendly staff but the hotel itself has extremely limited facilities, no fridge in room, no bar or restaurant. Extremely noisy.

One issue they need to address is the lack of a good security lock on their windows. The current one is very unsafe and would not stop anyone who wanted to get in. THIS IS A MAJOR WORRY!!
Breakfast was not the best, no fridge in the room with the weather being almost 40 degress each day, after speaking to the manager,he managed to get us a fridge,said that rooms do not come with a mini ffidge
Great location and great casino next door. The room smelled strong of some fragrance that was an attempt to hide the strong smell of mold. Outside the room it smelled very strongly of paint. We had an issue with laundry that almost made us late for our flight. Would not return at least to the lodge. The hotel might be nicer.
Hotel and it’s grounds are run down. In dire need of fixing. Room smelt of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on carpet. Got a new room. Service at hotel restaurant was very slow and the food considering the price was well below acceptable.
Booked for 1 adult and 2 kids , but the amenities provided in the room were insufficient. Also , the sleeper couch is extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast selection is also very limited.
Not what was expected. The rooms have no basic amenities like a Bar Fridge or Additional Towels or Linen when you book for 2 adults and 2 children.
Staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel did not meet our requirements. We checked out a day early.
Great service and breakfast... Special thank you to the male, Indian receptionist who remembered we were owed R200 upon checkout... Good times, except for the rowdy neighbours...
Had a lovely experience overall although air-conditioning was not working which ment our rooms were stuffy at night. Staff are friendly, breakfast was good. Casino was good for entertainment.
Requested early check-in due to us traveling and having small kids as a special request when making the reservation. No feedback regarding this was communicated back to me. Not sure what's the reason for 8 special requests section but clearly no one looks into these for the customers
My stay at sibaya was very disappointing. The sofa bed was torn. It was not made up every night, I had to request and on the final night did it myself. The entire night people are talking loud in passage sways. Cleaning staff shout and scream at each other in the passage ways to communicate. My bathroom bin was not cleaned for the entire 3 days I stayed there. That is very un hygienic. At breakfast t you need t go locate staff at back to make toast or eggs. While I do not expect 5 star treatment in a 3 star establishment, at least live up to the 3 stars. Basic hygiene and service etiquette. I would never have complained to the establishment as they are not service orientated and believe they are going you a favour. I was actually waiting to respond on this mail in the hope that it would be addressed.
Stay was satisfactory. Booked a double room it was a double bed and sleeper couch did not state that when we booked. My kids are 11 and 14 and were really uncomfortable. Requested towels at there were only 2 yet booking stated for 4. They said the kids must use the hand towel. Ridiculous. Breakfast not so grand.
The place was the cleanest, welll maintained. I ve been travelling and been to few places before my stay at Isibaya and I. found it best in all aspect. Keep up the good work.
For a sun international hotel very disappointed didn't get the room that I book said sea facing the room I got had no view the room wasn't used in a while as every thing was dusty when I walked in including the bathroom.. really not welcoming. The front desk was really unhelpful when there was no parking people visiting the casino for the day or eveing park in the parking allocated for the hotel guests and Hense parking is a nightmare. Paying that much money to stay at the lodge and no interest or care is taken. Very disappointed will not stay here again and makes me think twice booking at a sun international in the future.
