"We loved the hotel's location right on the riverfront, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the pool instead of the river, which was a bit disappointing. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but it could use some updating. The mattress was noticeably worn and lumpy, and the bathroom sink was chipped in several places. Because of the rainy weather, we spent some time at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly conversation there. However, the biggest drawback was the parking fee. Charging $45 per night for parking seemed excessive, especially considering there was plenty of covered and open parking available for guests. Overall, the location and bar experience were enjoyable, but the condition of the room and high parking cost left room for improvement."

"Very convenient cottage while in town for Pariss Island Graduation. There was plenty of room for me and my wife as well as my mother in law and for one night, our marine. We highly recommend this cottage to other families visiting Parris Island and/or Beaufort."
