"The staff was extremely helpful and kind! They honestly made our stay absolutely wonderful. Although the room was very clean and quiet, I did expect it to be more up-to-date for a 4 star rated hotel. Lastly, I was disappointed with paper cups and instant coffee packets for the room."

"The TV and internet in the room did not work and could not be fixed during our stay despite asking twice. Apparently no engineer on site but why put us in this room when most rooms were empty? The evening meal in the Restuarant - my wife’s Cote de Beouf steak was not eatable . We informed the waiter who apologised several times but never offered to replace it. You still charged us in full for it. Real shame as otherwise nice venue that we may have considered using regularly when travelling back from alps to UK, I asked twice at reception for these problems to be considered and no one was available to consider a partial refund or even a gesture of goodwill. Still not heard from hotel more than 24 hours after check out. Very disappointing , still waiting on a formal response to my legitimate service complaint ."

"Staff lovely, breakfast nice, clean room. Aging in some ways but didn’t impact on our stay. Limited crockery and kitchen utensils so don’t use kitchen much - location is around university so lots of action however a 15 min walk to old town etc. happy with stay. Very nice staff who were very helpful. "

"When we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Directions and access to the secure parking area was easy. Lovely clean comfortable room with lots of hot water. Sébastien Lecouffe, the manager was friendly and helpful. A great stay while visiting the Lille xmas market, which was a quick 15 minute Uber journey away."

"L’hôtel est très bien. Seuls bémols la gestion du parking à 8 euro le 12 heures et assurance qualité au niveau du ménage… serviette manquante et une oreillée sans taie. Le quartier est peu interessant par contre à côté d’un grand centre d’achat. "
