"Lovely area."

"It’s easy to miss driving by. Building, parking area and pool are separated from the highway by a tree landscaped berm. The sign is small, tan-ish orange and partially hidden by trees on the berm. Made finding the entrance difficult. Once there, our stay was very enjoyable."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, and having a stove and refrigerator along with a separate living/dining room was a definite plus. The 24/7 coffee and hot chocolate machine in the lobby was another perk, as were the hot tub and large (albeit shallow) pool. "Room very clean and beds extra comfortable. Lots of small decorating features for a motel and gardens on grounds were extra beautiful. Rooms themselves felt older but with new furnishings. Overall a comfortable stay."

"No frills, great place to stay. Everything seems clean, there's a CVS right next to the hotel which is convenient. I gave them 4 stars because when we arrived (at 4am), no one was there to greet us. We waited around in the parking lot for a bit while we called other places and got on the phone with Expedia to try and make other accommodations. Drove to a different place, no luck. Once we came back and were waiting again -it had been nearly an hour by now- we finally saw someone walking into the...

"I've stayed at this motel many times and find it to be a great balance of value vs. condition/cleanliness and a good stay. The staff literally could not be any friendlier and are a highlight of the stay, very accommodating and go out of their way to help with any needs you may have. I will definitely continue to stay here when I am in the area for hiking trips."

"My stay was great. There were a couple of problems with my room which were quickly fixed. Steve who is one of the front desk clerks is wonderful. He went above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee just needs to be a little stronger..."

"All in all, it was a good value, but there was a male employee who was working when I checked in and whose behavior was similar to multiple people. I was ignored for over 10 minutes while he spoke on the phone. He issued me a card without asking for my ID and when I brought multiple packages in on a carrier, he gave me a second floor room where there’s no elevator. He was indifferent. he ignored us and I didn’t appreciate that."

"Staff was friendly and accommodating (example: got to the complimentary breakfast 15 minutes before close. No coffee, so she cheerfully made a fresh pot just for us.) Place was clean;everything worked great. Had a nice bench seat outside the room to look at the mountains and relax after several hours of motorcycle riding. I would absolutely recommend the place and would stay there again."

"I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room."

"This is a quiet, no frills place. It’s hard to find a reasonably priced motel in the Berkshires in-season and this is it. Fancy it is not. Stylish, also no. But it was clean and the mattresses were comfortable."
