"Clean rooms; amazing guest service. It’s a bit disappointing in that it doesn’t have a bar or market/store on premises for snacks. Not even vending machines! They need to upgrade a bit. "

"The Francis Marion is a lovely old nostalgic hotel. The location is fantastic. I would suggest upgrading to a bigger room. The rooms seem to be a worn. I think back in the day it was probably a very luxurious hotel. I think the bathrooms could be updated. I think most of the Queen bed rooms were cut in half to make way for more rooms. However the lobby , restaurant , Spa and Exercise room are nice considering the hotel is older. I think with a little bit more renovations it would be the bell of the ball because of it's great location. I woul definitely stay there again. "
