"Beautiful little inn in beautiful Newport, walking distance to the wharfs and loads of restaurants, stores, and more. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and large- they're really accommodating of allergies and food preferences, too. Loved this place. My only feedback that isn't totally glowing is that the walls are very old and therefore thin, and that means at night you might hear your neighbor's TV or snoring or coughing if you're a light sleeper. "I have stayed in a number of top hotels around the world and this as an Inn exceeded my expectations. From the location, to the staff, to the breakfast dropped off at your door each morning. I cannot reccomend it enough. "

"Managerial staff suck There was a blizzard and loss of power/heat/hot water They wanted us to pay full price to stay more night! Jerks! They also did not hire anyone to plow the parking lot so everyone remainder stranded for days. We dug ourselves out. "

"They gave me room that wasn’t even finished being cleaned so I had to wait in the hall for 10mins for the cleaner to get done and when I went in the bathroom had hair all in it she didn’t even vacuum the side night stand had liquid on it nothing was wiped down the tables had crumbs and smudged food on them. And the people across the hall was extremely loud and was up until after 1am yelling in the halls loud music and slamming doors"

"So there's no real amenities at this place even though you pay a resort and amenities fee. Property doesnt have the restaurant running at the inn which is the only real amenity so that was a major bummer since you kind of rely on it being open for dinner considering everything else is 40 mins out w/o traffic. "I wasn’t given the jacuzzi room like I reserved. I was given a room with a jetted tub. When asked about it was told it’s all the same thing. Even when I showed a picture of the room I booked. I was brushed off and told they didn’t have rooms like that. Not a happy experience "

The decor was pleasing and unlike any other motel I have stayed in. Check in was easy and during my 3 night stay it was very quiet. Which was greatly appreciated. "The staff was great, the physical building is lacking. The floors were uneven throughout, to the point where I slipped and fell in the bedroom itself coming out of the bathroom (I was uninjured thankfully). Needs some repairs."

"I cannot say enough good things about this place— it was the best part of our trip! Super easy to get into your room, from the nice ambiance in the stairwell to the cleanest room & bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed is really comfortable and there was no noise that was heard from any other rooms. From the Admiral we walked to Chomp to have dinner one night, which was very good, and in the mornings we walked to the Picnic Cafe for coffee and they have good pastries. And if you can get there...
