"It is an ok property to spend the night"

"The employees were all very helpful and cheery! When we went to our room, it was clean with a faint smell of bleach, so we knew the housekeeping was impeccable. The property was as if you were at a tropical island. Close to the beach and all of the downtown action....just a short ride away or use Uber/Lyft, which is what we did. "So when I booked this resort through Expedia, the night I arrived to the resort I called the number and was trying to check in. It was a very unorthodox way to check in. "Loved this cute little inn on the beach! So conveniently located and So thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. Very accommodating and allowed for early check in and late check out so we could maximize our time at the beach. Beach chairs and sand sifters were available for us to use. Local bakery supplied pastries for a simple but delicious continental breakfast. The only concern we had was that the air conditioning did not get that cold. We made it work!"

I definitely did not like the automated service for the front desk although both Sid and David were polite and cordial. My room was musty so I had to purchase deodorizer. My toilet stopped up. Having no closet also presented a problem for me. While having a refrigerator and microwave was convenient no ironing board and iron was not as well as no front desk phone connection. "I would advise anyone who is looking at this property to call them directly and see if they can get a better price. We paid $500 a night and when we got there we found out that other guests only paid $200. They had called directly and booked the same room at the hotel rate. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told that the manager has discretion to discount rooms when they have space. She said sometimes rooms have been as low at $100."
